We Got This with Mark and Hal

Every Wednesday Mark Gagliardi and Hal Lublin (Drunk History, The Thrilling Adventure Hour, Welcome to Night Vale) take the dumb issues in life that people care too much about and settle the argument once and for all. No topic is too small or insignificant for them to dissect and decide! Whatever minutiae you argue with friends and family, don’t worry: We Got This.

As we head into the Labor Day weekend, Mark and Hal grab a frisbee and head out to the local cookout. But should they get hamburgers or hot dogs when they get there? They break it down and emerge with a clear victor!

Going to Dragon Con in Atlanta this Labor Day weekend? Come see Hal at his panels & performances and visit him on the Walk of Fame where he'll be signing and selling. Find all of the details here!

Also, Hal and Mark are doing another live show in NYC on Sunday, October 9th, with John Hodgman, John DiMaggio, Carter Parton Rogers, and more! Get tickets here.

Among the 250+ topics we've received over the last one and a half years, there are always some that don't warrant a full episode. When that happens, Mark and Hal clean the slate with a multi-topic extravaganza. Helping them out this time is actor/nerd icon Wil Wheaton, who waxes poetic on everything from theme park ruffians to the popcorn eating style he shares with Hal.

Going to Dragon Con? So is Hal! Here's where you can find him.

Is there good without evil? Are there heroes without villains?

NO.

That's why you need a REALLY good villain, especially if we're talking about movies. So who is the best movie villain of all-time? It's a tall order, which is why we enlisted the help of our friend: WWE Superstar (and one half of the Vaudevillains) Simon Gotch!

We're not savages here, people. We need utensils to properly enjoy a meal. And while it seems like there are utensils for any type of food, there are two that are EVERYWHERE: The spoon, and the fork. Which is the best? We got this.

And NO - IT IS NOT THE SPORK.

As the world's greatest athletes descend upon Rio for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, you'll have countless events to watch. But which of those events is the best? Mark and Hal get to the bottom of the debate as they move with the swiftness of Usain Bolt, the grace of Gabby Douglas, and the precision of whatever Dressage horse won gold in Beijing.

See Hal live in Hollywood on 8/5 for his monthly show Headcan(n)on with Joseph Scrimshaw! Get tickets here.
